The Middle Brick

About this event

$60

Led by Nantucket Lighthouse School teacher Alana Cullen, this workshop welcomes children ages 4 and up, and their parent or caregiver, to the amazing world of gardening with fairies in mind. Participants will make a fanciful fairy dwelling out of natural materials. Vine-woven fences, beach stone paths, driftwood homes – these are just a few of the things your child will create to make their fairy house a home.

Please note that a parent or caregiver must be present, and that all participants are required to wear a mask while attending this workshop.

About Alana:

Alana Cullen is a mother, maker and preschool teacher. She marvels at the intelligence, creativity and humor of young children. Alana has a passion for empowering children, each on their own unique learning journey, through stories, the exploration of nature and handwork. When she’s not in her garden, you’ll find her exploring the island with her two sons and seeking the magic in every day.
