Carriage House Day Care & Early Learning center was established in 1985 by Marion McGrath. Two years later, in 1987, Carriage House expanded to triple its original size, providing Edgewood and surrounding communities the opportunity to grow and learn in a high quality setting. While a series of smaller renovations occurred in the following years, Carriage House went under its next biggest renovation in 2007—a beautiful and fully stocked library that provides children with a space to develop their love of reading. As an organization, we are always looking to grow and improve whenever we can, and in 2016 all four of our play yards received a total renovation to include brand new equipment, updated flooring, and a variety of outdoor building blocks and games. Most recently, in 2017, finished our outdoor renovation with an update on Carriage House’s exterior and its pool, making sure that our facility is a place children can continue to enjoy for many years to come.

Our Mission

The mission of Carriage House Day Care Ltd. is to provide quality day care for children in a safe and happy learning environment, while at the same time providing parents with the peace of mind that their child/children are receiving the best possible care while they are at work or away.
