About Us: CHILD, Inc.’s programs are based on the philosophy that parents are the primary nurturers, educators, and advocated of their children. We believe that it is necessary for program staff and parents to work closely together to develop individualized plans for each child in order to ensure their successful growth and development.
CHILD, Inc.’s early childhood curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best by doing. Since young children “learn through play,” they need opportunities to handle materials, experiment, explore, interact with others, think and participate. Children use all of their senses (touch, taste, hearing, smell, and sight) as they explore and learn about their world. Our goal is to nurture children’s physical, social, emotional, language, intellectual development, and to help them become enthusiastic, self-confident, independent learners.
