About Us: 

We have been in business since 1982. We have a newly built state-of-the-art facility located at 105 North Meadows Road, in Medfield.  This facility is the safest and secure preschool facility in Medfield.  In addition, we have designed the most unique playground in the area!  

Infant Program: Available to children 3 months to 14 months of age.  They must be signed up for a minimum of 2 days with 8 hours though more days and hours are available if needed.

Toddler Program:  Available to children between 15 months and 2.8 years of age.  You must sign up for a minimum of 2 days from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  You do have the option of signing up for more days and longer hours.

Nursery School &  Pre-Kindergarten Programs: Your child must be 2.9 years old by August 31 for the nursery program and 4 years old by August 31 for the pre-kindergarten program. Both of these programs run Monday through Friday, 9:00 am until 11:30 am with an optional Lunch Bunch program available from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm.

Junior Kindergarten Program:  On an as-needed basis, we offer a transitional program for those students who just miss the cut-off for Kindergarten or for those children who for various reasons are not ready for Kindergarten, but meet the age requirement. This is generally a 5 day/week program.

Child-Care Program: Your child will participate in our educational program, but will have the option of extended hours (i.e. coming in before 9:00 am or staying after 12:30 pm).

After-School Kindergarten Program: If your child has morning Kindergarten, we are able to meet children (11:30 am-11:45 am) coming off the school bus. They are dropped off right at the gate with a teacher waiting.  They will take part (along with our Pre-K and Jr. K children) in our afternoon educational program called PM Pals.

After School Program:   (Kindergarteners & First Graders up to the age of 8.11).  We will offer this program on an as-needed basis from year to year.  We’ll offer art projects on a daily basis and will go outside to work on gross motor skills each day weather permitting.  There will be free play inside that can include art projects, building, organized games, and just spending time with friends in a relaxed, fun environment.

Summer  Program:  Our summer program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00  am to 12:00 pm for nine (9) or ten (10) weeks at our South Street school location.  You do have an option for signing up for extended hours, and for as  many weeks as you wish.

Enrichment Program 

Medfield Children’s Center is proud to offer Technology Pals® where children (ages 3-5) explore technology through hands-on discovery, build academic readiness skills, express creativity, and develop self-confidence in small classes of about three students facilitated by a knowledgeable teacher.

Medfield Children’s Center is thrilled to “ROCK and ROLL” with music teacher extraordinaire Miss Elaine Kessler!  With Miss Elaine’s Music & Imagination program, the children learn new songs with some guitar accompaniment.

Miss Sarah visits our Pre-Kindergarten programs once a month.  Through hands-on activities, the children (& teachers) learn all about animals & nature.
